Nurse will work independently as a school nurse in a clinic within the school setting and will work the school calendar.

Will work with students daily to promote health and wellness providing immunizations, well child physicals, medication administration, first aid, daily medications, and clinical support for sick children. Conducts nursing assessments, as appropriate, using the Core Clinical Service Guide (CCSG); develops and implements a plan of care based upon identified health risks; provides basic nursing care to the client consistent with the CCSG, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, established policies, procedures and licensing laws; documents services provided to the client according to standards of the CCSG and Administrative Reference; and maintains confidentiality and privacy according to guidelines.
