Hours Status: FULL-TIME, 3rd shift 11pm-7am
Pay Range: $14.75 hourly, eligible for 3rd shift differential of $1.00 per hour
Brief Job Description:
The Mental Health Technician is the direct care staff of the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit, which is a 24-hour program. Mental Health Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safety of the clients, coordinating mental health evaluations, answering 988 Lifeline calls, and maintaining client care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supervise residents ensuring that they are safe and secure at all times
- Answering 988 Lifeline Calls
- Document resident daily activities
- Complete admission/discharges
- Coordinate evaluations with clients and community partners
- Engage with clients through recreational activities
- Assist residents in utilizing acceptable coping skills
- Contribute to general cleanliness of the facility
- Supervise medication administration
- Follow policies and procedures of the ACSU
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; valid Kentucky driver’s license and proof of insurance; acceptable background check (yearly).
