Brief Job Description:

Provide supportive interventions to individuals of all age groups who are experiencing an acute, immediate crisis with a focus on children and families. Accepts referrals from community agencies, family members, and individuals. Provide screenings and assessments to families identified as high risk for removal of children. Provide crisis counseling to individuals and families and refer to support resources as appropriate.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in a Master’s program in social work, psychology, marriage and family, or counseling

2. Good verbal and communication skills.

3. Acceptable background check.

4. Flexible schedule and ability to work calmly under stressful conditions.
