Title: Mobile Crisis Peer Support

Worksite: ACSU

County: Warren

Hours Status: Full-Time, M-F, 9a-6p (with some flexibility)

Pay Range: $13.25 hourly

POSITION SUMMARY:

Respond to mobile crisis requests through 988 and other agencies with a therapist. Provide crisis services and resources to individuals in need while responding to their crisis in their homes and/or place they are at. Offer follow up services after in person responses. Will provide follow up with client to assist in ongoing treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be an individual who lives with a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder and has demonstrated at least two years of commitment to his/her own personal recovery.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and present proof of automobile insurance.
• Certified as a Peer Specialist at time of hire or within first 6 months.

SKILLS:

Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, cultural backgrounds, life-styles, and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
