Title: Therapist I - BGISD

Worksite: Bowling Green Learning Center

County: Warren

Hours Status: Full-Time, Salary

Pay Range: $45,000.00 Yearly

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide quality psychotherapy to children who are experiencing mental illness or behavior problems. Services are provided in a variety of settings including the clinic, school, and home, with an emphasis on home-based services.

Flexible work schedule (to include evenings and weekends). On call, as needed, for ACSU mobile/walk-in services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family, or psychology
• Actively pursuing licensure or certification under a professional board

SKILLS:

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to work independently regarding scheduling time, organizing workload, completing a variety of task in a timely manner, and functioning within a school setting with professionals from other disciplines in a cooperative and helpful manner.
• Experience working with children with severe emotional disturbances in a psychotherapy setting preferred.
