Title: Registered Nurse

Worksite: Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit

County: Warren

Hours Status: Full-Time

Pay Range: $55,000 annually

Brief Job Description:

Provide quality nursing services to clients at the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit who are experiencing mental health or substance use crises. Duties include coordinating the admission process with clients and referral and payer sources, conducting nursing assessments for all admissions, communicating with medical providers, implementing doctor's orders, supervising the medication intake and distribution process for all clients following applicable State, Federal, and Medicaid guidelines, monitoring client progress, making referrals to medical care when needed, client education and training staff on health/medical related topics.

Education:

• Graduate of a Nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Licensure:

• Kentucky RN license or RN license in a State recognized by the Kentucky Nurse Licensure Compact Act required effective June 1, 2007.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with clients who experience drug and alcohol issues is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
