Title: Intake Therapist
Worksite: Warren CSC / PIPBHC
County: Warren
Hours Status: Full-Time, 8am-5pm
Pay Range: $45,000 annually
POSITION SUMMARY:
Complete psychosocial intakes for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders in order for them to receive therapy services.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Complete screenings, psychosocial evaluations/intakes and relevant referrals
- Develop treatment plans for clients, and complete all required documentation.
- Complete all correspondence in a timely fashion.
- Participate in clinical staffing/treatment meetings providing feedback on all pertinent cases.
- Establish solid and frequent lines of communication with internal and external PIPHBC professionals.
- Maintain agency expectations to facilitate access to services for clients.
- Document all services provided in accordance with agency standards.
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with FQHC employees, referral sources, clients, and coworkers, adhering to Code of Ethics and agency policies.
- Handle crisis situations as they arise.
- Maintain an expert knowledge base regarding current practices and research.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family, or psychology.
- Must either be licensed or be in pursuit of a licensure or certification under a professional board.
